The example photo shows the TT roller on my current harbour layout.

Please note, the writing shown on the renders may not appear on the finished product.

Instructions for Use

Lay the material (Milliput / Clay / Putty) onto the baseboard and push it as flat and even as possible. Ideally it wants to be at least 3mm thick for OO and O, and can be thinner for N and TT.

Allow the material to partially set for at least half an hour before rolling, to help it adhere to the baseboard rather than the roller.

It is recommended to use a release agent such as talcum powder or cornflour sprinkled onto the roller to help prevent the material sticking to it.

Push and roll like a rolling pin, using enough pressure to create the imprint, but not so hard as to rip the material.

If the roller needs to be cleaned, scrub it with a stiff brush - an old toothbrush is ideal - in warm water as soon as possible. Small pieces can be picked away with tweezers if required.
