Colourising

Please note:  The Prices listed below are for colourising ONLY.  If any photo restoration is required this will be a cost in addition to colourising.

 

Grade A - from £45
Single figure on plain background - Little background detail, no complex patterns or flowers.


Grade B - from £75
Multiple figures (2-3) – More complicated detail, patterned clothing etc.


Grade C - from £95
Groups. Intricate details (e.g flowers/patterns), vehicles, animals etc.


Grade D - from £120+
Very complex images, multiple figures, crowds, school or military photographs.

If you are unsure please email me for a personalised quote, attaching your images for me to look at.  I try to reply within 48 hours but emails come through to my phone so it's usually pretty quick.  

 

Costs may differ for multiple photos or based on image complexity, and quotes are free.

Restoration


Grade A - from £25

Contrast adjustments - Simple dust and scratch removal -

Cropping - Simple fade corrections - Sharpening

 

Grade B - from £35

Minor discolouration - Hair-line fissures - Minor fading -

Minor mould or damage

 

Grade C - from £55

Facial area corrections - Paper wrinkles -Moderate mould -

Deep scratch marks -Medium fading - Small areas missing

 

Grade D - from £75

Larger areas of face or body missing - Heavy mould damage -

Major rebuilding and object removing - Significant folds or tears - Heavy fading - Larger areas missing or damaged

Licensing Images

 

If you are interested in licensing my colourised images, please email me for a personalised quote.  Please note, not all photographs featured on this site are available to license and certain restrictions may apply.

 

For commercial clients, the prices listed above may be subject to a licensing charge if images are being displayed to the public, or are used in print media.  Please email me with your requirements and to discuss available options.

Prints & Copies

 

All photos are printed on Canon Professional Photo Paper.   

 

Postage is £4 per order (UK Royal Mail Tracked 48), and overseas prices may vary.

​

Prints above size A4 may be posted in cardboard tubes.

  • 8.3 x 5.8" (A5)              £3.00    

  • 10 x 8"                         £4.50   

  • 11.7 x 8.3 (A4)"            £6.50

Not all photos (especially older photos) fit into modern frame size guidelines.  Some clipping or cropping may need to occur for me to fit your photo into your chosen print size.  If you would prefer your print without any cropping or clipping I offer standard paper sizes (A5, A4 & A3) so you can cut the photo out at home to fit your own frame.

 

 

Digital Copies

 

Due to disk drives slowly becoming obsolete, I am no longer offering digital copies on data CD.  Instead, digital copies of you photo will be included in the colourising/restoration price, and will be sent via email, or Dropbox transfer depending on the finished file size.
