This station master's house is based on the building at Chandler's Ford Railway Station, Eastleigh Hampshire, on the London and South Western Railway. It has been 3D designed brick by brick using the only existing photographs of the building, which was demolished in the 1960s. It is offered unpainted or hand painted (in larger scales).
As the model was based on photographs, the dimensions were estimated by counting bricks, door heights etc and so may not be accurate to the building that existed until the 1960s. Some areas of the building are not visible in the original photos, and so have been imagined.
The model includes a foundation which measures approx 2mm in 1:76 scale (OO Gauge). This is to allow the building to be more realistically embedded into paving/scenery.
