A tank of the 2nd Battalion Welsh Guards passes over Nijmegen bridge in the Netherlands, September 1944. This bridge was located approximately ten miles from Arnhem and was described by General Eisenhower as a ‘valuable prize’.
This image was produced for the Welsh Guards Book 'Bearskins Bayonets and Body Armour', and 50% of the profits from sales of this canvas will be donated to the Welsh Guards Charity which provides welfare and financial support to Welsh Guardsmen and families in need.
Please note, not all size choices are identical, so some of the image may sit differently, depending on the size chosen. In general, the larger size canvases will show most of the image, but smaller prints may show less, especially if some of the image is required to wrap around the canvas edges.
